When Posting Feels Wrong

Posting anything on social media right now just feels wrong. I’m sure most people are feeling this way too, but I can’t help but feel like I need to do something. Even though I know nothing I do will ever feel like enough, I still want to use this space the best way I know how.

For me, that means honoring Charlie Kirk the way I know he'd want us to, and that's through faith.

I’ve always used my blog and platform to help. Help people who dream of building a home like my husband and I did. Help share our story with others who have similar goals. Help encourage someone who feels stuck or overwhelmed. At the end of the day, I just want this space to be a place where you can find encouragement and make someone’s journey a little easier.

But right now, when I feel helpless myself in the middle of so much grief and uncertainty, I need to go back to the only thing that gives me peace: my faith.

So today, I just want to share this truth with you...

Jesus loves you. No matter what.

No matter what season you’re in, what mistakes you’ve made, or how heavy your heart feels right now, His love doesn’t waver. And if you’re feeling like I am... lost, hurting, unsure of what to say or do, know that you’re not alone.

Sometimes the best thing we can do is lean on that promise and cling to hope, even when it feels small.

If you take one thing away from this post, let it be this: you don’t have to have the perfect words, the perfect actions, or a massive following to make an impact. Just showing up with love, faith, and compassion is enough. That’s what I’ll keep trying to do here. And I pray it brings you a little light today too.

“Well done, good and faithful servant… Come and share your master’s happiness!” (Matthew 25:21)
